“IP(Scholars) A(sia) Works-in-Progress Conference” is an initiative by the Applied Research Centre for Intellectual Assets and the Law in Asia (ARCIALA), School of Law, Singapore Management University in 2016.
The conference provides an open annual forum for scholars across Asian economies researching and writing on Asian IP laws and regimes to present and discuss their works-in-progress in a more relaxed and interactive manner. Participants also came from the US and the European Union. Four consecutive Works-in-Progress Conferences have since been successfully held, making the event an invaluable asset in Asia.
The 5th Asian IP Works-in-Progress Conference will be co-organized and held at the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong on 9 - 10 January 2020, with innovative new features. Interested colleagues please submit the title of the proposed presentation, an abstract of 300 words and CV in a Word document before 15 October 2019 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
